How to use Shape R + Examples
Shape R has a groove at the end of the tip which is suitable for removing integrated circuit components. Simply place the heated tip over the component to be removed. Once the solder has melted, releasing the component, use a tweezer or similar tool to remove the component.
The tip size chosen should be one that the component fits nicely to ensure the solder melts before the rest of the board or the component gets overheated
