It is recommended to replace the sensor, AS5000, after 1,500 measurements. However, the timing may vary depending on the tip temperature, solder, and flux.
Caution: The sensor is very thin and may break if pressed hard.
- Measure tip temperature faster and with higher accuracy
- Approximately 30 times longer than conventional sensors (based on in-house tests)
- Temperature measurement of conventional sensors degrade after 50 times of measurements, while with the new AS5000, you can measure up to 1500 times before degradation
- New frame makes the sensor easier and faster to install/remove
