Features
High Power Soldering Pot
The high power prevents the temperature of the pot from dropping under continous operation, saving the time to melt solder by nearly 60% (as compared to the FX-301B).
Max Temperature of 530°C*
The dipping time for stripping enamel coating of coils can be saved with high- temperature settings.
*Temperature setting of 530°C is applicable with 50 × 50 square pot only
Durable Pots in three sizes
Choose between three sizes of pots with special coating for durability depending on the type of components. the FX-305 comes equipped with a standard 75 x 75 square pot that is well-suited for various types of work.
NOTE: Do ensure that the solder has hardened and cooled enough before changing the pot to prevent burns. Proper precaution is advised.
Prevent Solder Splash
The solder pot has a cover that hinges down to safely prevent solder splash, and can be opened to provide easy access to the solder.
Digital Display & Stop Mode
The LCD display showcases multiple information, such as set temperature and pot sensor temperature. The temperature is displayed even while the heater is off to show when it is safe to handle the solder pot.
Parameter Settings
The FX-305 comes with some preset solder compositions which can be selected to match the solder that is to be melted. This helps the solder melt faster with targeted temperatures at various melting points.
Auto Offset / Correction & Software
Offset or correcting temperature can be easily and automatically achieved with the infrared transmit function of the FG-100B / FG-101B. By connecting with a computer, various settings and calibration results can be saved - the software also logs the history of offset and correction with no human error.
[Optional] Fixing Support
Safety screws and plates are available separately to secure the solder pot onto the workbench.
[Optional] Temperature Probe Fixing
An optional temperature probe helps to hold the probe in place to accurately measure the temperature with no movement.
Timer
The timer function counts the cumulative operation time of the solder pot, which can be used as a guide to know when to replace the pot.
NOTE: Overall lifespan of the solder pot depends on the usage conditions
Solder Leak Detection
An error code will be displayed in event of solder leak from the pot.
Easy Replacement of Heating Element
The top of the unit opens easily for replacement of the heating element. It is advisable to measure the temperature of the pot after replacing the heating element and perform a temperature offset if there is a deviation from the set temperature.
